Bushido Martial Arts
Bushido Martial Arts is a family friendly dojo teaching in Fergus Ontario for over 20 years. We offer beginner and advanced classes (Ages 4 and up) in traditional Okinawa Karate, Kobudo, Kumite, Self-Defence and Anti-Bullying Programs. We promote higher self esteem and physical and mental wellness through positive, motivational teaching methods.

Head Instructor / Dojo Owner: Sensei Sharon Champagne
Head instructor and proud mother of three Sensei Sharon, has been training in martial arts for over 30 years. Starting in Tae Kwon Do at the Jong Park Institute in Mississauga, she moved to the Fergus area in 1987. Shortly there after she began training in Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan Karate under Ken Verbakel. Travelling to Virginia in 1996, after an intensive grading, in front of a board of sensei's, Sensei Sharon became the first black belt of Bonsai Martial Arts. As part of her karate journey, Sensei Sharon has travelled across; Canada, The United States and Japan, for training and competitions.
Sensei Sharon is a direct student of Koyshi Pat Haley (Vice President of Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan Association) and currently holds the rank of Godan (Fifth degree).
